Synopsis: Embrace the forbidden.
What if there were teens whose lives literally depended on being bad influences?
This is the reality for sons and daughters of fallen angels. Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She’s aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but it isn’t until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He’s the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.
Forced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?
Thoughts: This is the first book that I have read from Wendy Higgins. I did enjoy this book but I also felt like there could have been more of something to make it go over the top. I found the story interesting but you see very little of them being bad influences. It was more of a story for Anna to learn about the choice she has to make and learning about her kind.
I am glad that I finally read it. I keep hearing what a great author Wendy is and I’m glad to get going on her books and enjoy them for myself. I don’t read enough books with fallen angels. I know there are several but I usually just find the ones about vampires and aliens or whatever. I look forward to seeing how things play out for Anna.
