Happy release day to Kelly Hashway!
Fading into the Shadows is now out!
Description – When sixteen-year-old Ella Andrews’s best friend, Avery, goes missing, she’ll do anything to get him back—starting with punching the no-brain cop who couldn’t care less about the disappearance. Ella’s convinced Avery’s been kidnapped, and she tries everything to find him—even fol-lowing a strange shadow to another world where the constellations are real-life figures in the sky. But three star groups have fallen and are destroying the world. The fallen constellations are not the only enemy. Melanie, the princess of Stellaris, is forcing Ella, Avery, and an army of other kids kidnapped from their world to fight the rogue con-stellations, even as the land is draining away their life. The longer they stay, the more they fade into substanceless shadows—a fate worse than death. Can Ella save Stellaris before there’s nothing left of her and Avery?

The Darkness Within is out today. This is the sequel to The Monster Within.
The Monster Within: The moment seventeen-year-old Samantha Thompson crawls out of her grave, her second chance at life begins. She died of cancer with her long-time boyfriend, Ethan, by her side–a completely unfair shot at life. But Ethan found a way to bring her back, like he promised he would. Only Sam came back wrong. She’s now a monster that drains others’ lives to survive. And after she kills, she’s tortured by visions–glimpses into her victims would have- been futures had she not killed them. Barely able to live with herself and trying to make things right, Sam ends up a pawn in a vicious game of payback within the local coven of witches. Are you a part of a street team or some sort? Kelly has a street team and she recently did something pretty cool in that she let us help name a town in a story she was writing. That is one of the things I LOVE about street teams. You get to interact with fellow readers and people that love the same author. Sometimes the author will do something special like contests, exclusive sneak peeks or polls.
Below area few from Kelly’s street team answering some questions. (more…)
I had a bit of a fail moment yesterday and didn’t get a post up. So, how about today we have a little something from Kelly herself. The other day was two FREE reads that you can find on her site. They are short stories that are a prequel of sorts for the Touch of Death series. The two main characters are Jodi and Alex.
5 Things You Should Know About Jodi Marshall (According to Alex Montgomery):
- She looks amazing wearing my long-sleeve T-shirt to bed.
- Being the Chosen One isn’t what makes her special. It’s the way she’s willing to risk her life to protect people. Who else would go head to head with Hades to save a race of people she barely knows?
- She looks just like Medusa. Don’t believe all those stories you’ve heard about Medusa. She was actually gorgeous. (Please don’t tell Athena I said that.)
- No matter how much power she has, she’ll always miss her old life as a human.
- She has no idea how amazing she really is.
Have you ever had an author that you had to read every book that they wrote? An author that is a true escape for you? Well,…how about you let Kelly Hashway be that author for you.
This coming Tuesday, June 2nd, Kelly has a new book being released called The Darkness Within. It is a sequel to The Monster Within. I am really looking forward to The Darkness Within because of how much I enjoyed The Monster Within.
Over the next several days I will have a new post about Kelly in some way. There is plenty to share and this super sweet author. One thing is that she also writes under the name Ashelyn Drake. But, this week I’m going to focus on the things she has written as Kelly Hashway. (more…)
